Experiencing the
sensation of true New Orleans cuisine has never been easier, at B.A.Peppers Grill N’Café the Cajuns come to celebrate their heritage and the world comes to join
them in their celebration. Come enjoy the friendly,
laid-back atmosphere of 'Nawlins in our family orientated restaurants, we have
some of the best food north or south of the Mason Dixon Line.
Cajun cuisine
originates from the French-speaking Acadian or "Cajun" immigrants in the
Acadian region of Louisiana, it is what could be called a rustic
cuisine. Predominately made
with locally available ingredients and preparation is simple. An
authentic Cajun meal is usually a three-pot affair, with one pot
dedicated to the main dish, one dedicated to steamed rice
or some other grain dish, and the third containing
whatever vegetable is plentiful or available. Usually served with skillet cornbread or biscuits.
Most dishes are made with the aromatic vegetables bell pepper, onion,
and celery, which in Cajun cuisine is called the holy
trinity. Finely diced and combined in cooking, the method is similar to
the use of the mire poix in traditional French cuisine which blends
finely diced onion, celery, and carrot.
Characteristic
seasonings and sauces are made in our own plants located on the north
shore of Lake Pontchartrain in Mandeville Louisiana. Some of the products that we use
are well known in the industry like Harold’s Mississippi Mud BBQ Sauce,
Piglet BBQ Sauce, Chef Mason’s Gourmet Cayenne Pepper Sauce, Thunder
Struck Cajun Seasoning, and Confederate Hell Fire. The overall
feel of our food is more of what you would get from a grandmother in
Cajun country then a chain restaurant.
Here
at B.A.Peppers Grill N’ Café we have a wide range of Cajun cuisine,
barbeque ribs, slow smoked brisket, hand cut steaks, fresh gulf seafood,
burgers and never forget those great authentic New Orleans style po-boys.
Our briskets, pork
butts and ribs are never steamed, baked or boiled and they never and we
mean never sit in a cooler for a minute much less days before they are
served. Our meats are slowly smoked for at least eight to sixteen hours
twice a day over a mixture of woods for that great Smokey flavor and
served fresh from the smokers when they are order by you.
When they
are gone they are gone so come by early to get yours.
We have franchising available for our
B.A.Peppers Grill N’ Café, B.A. Peppers Night Spot (live music and
comedy) and our B.A.Peppers Expresses a scaled down version of our main
restaurant.
